Turning my key to the "ignition only" click/position the red lights on the rear go on and off when I step on the rear brake pedal. Then theres a red indicator light that pops under tha headlight casing. Lastly, pushing the top button on the left handle bar control, the headlight goes on and off as i press it.

Other than that no option turns on the light, tried all the switches and buttons up mixing them in different positions and. What I'm trying to understand is which lights should go on on each and every ignition position.

idk, I think your bike needs a checkup. but for which lights should be on in each ignition, you can find the info in the owner's manuals

Normally, with the ignition on, your headlights, tail light, and brake light should be lit in certain positions, you check the wires yet?

Yes, normally. So something really is odd. Might as well just take it to the dealer soon as a window opens up in my schedule. Too busy for now lol.
