Hey, I'm curious if anyone still has a 1974 Mk2 850 Roadster. Mine's still running on the original tank, and I just installed some new carburetors, tweaking the left needle by one notch. Since I rebuilt the engine, I've put on about 1,500 km, and I've been using NZ 95 gas that doesn't have ethanol
Recently, after a 215 km ride, I used 10.5 liters of fuel, which works out to around 20 km per liter. The new carbs and keeping a consistent speed really make a difference. Back in 1979, with those old, worn Amals, I was pretty lucky to get 140 km before I had to fill up again
