I was taking off the gas tank of my 2018 Norton and suddenly one 5/16" Nyloc nut pulled the fixing stud and now the tank is leaking. I tried to reinsert the stud just out of my sheer hope but it can't seem to stay in place. Now there's a hole in the interstate fuel tank and I'm stuck. Send help over please. I need to use it tomorrow.

Any update brother? You didnt drop you location though. Anyway, what you need is to do some welding with all the safety in mind.

Dang, that's a tough one, you might need to replace the stud and nut, but to stop the leak temporarily, you can try a fuel-resistant epoxy or patch kit

Ouch, that sucks! To fix it right, either weld a patch on it or use a stud repair kit made for Norton tanks. Just be sure the tank is empty and has no fumes before you start.
