Restoring a 1974 Interpol

Anyone here owns a 74 Interpol? Been looking at my dad's Interpol and I'm thinking of prepping to get it ready for the road again without restoring it too much as a surprise for. A few parts aren't quite lining up though, like the front brake hose. If anyone has an original or knows these models well, I would love to compare notes and figure out what belongs where. @Known_Example300 looks like the previous owners are replacing parts with 'close enough' alternatives over the decades, or slight variations in production.
For the front brake hose, double check if the mounting points on the fork leg or triple tree are stock.
Sometimes, aftermarket handlebars or master cylinders can also change the required hose length and routing.
An original parts diagram from a factory service manual would be your best friend here for hose length and bracketry

I think @MuscleDad is right, people often replaced parts with whatever was available or seemed to fit, even if it wasn't exactly OEM. especially for things like brake lines, which can degrade

Why is it that vintage bike enthusiasts are forced to play detective just to keep history on the road, shouldn't manufacturers or museums have open archives by now? Gatekeeping this stuff helps no one
