I'm looking for a good-quality steel Roadster tank that directly replaces the original one. Ideally, it should be paint-ready and have internal baffling, plus it needs to fit the stock mounting points and flip caps. If anyone has recommendations for trustworthy places to check, I'd really appreciaet it. Being in the US, it'd be awesome to find a local source

A friend of mine got one from tc bros choppers a week before he sold the bike, don't ask me why. It was a bolt on, perfect fitment and looked good

You're on the right track! For something like that, I'd check out places like Lowbrow Customs or J&P Cycles

I don't exactly know where you are but you might want to check Colorado Norton Works or Classic British Spares in California!
If you don't mind checking online, you might also find good options on eBay.
Just be careful and do your own background check, you know!
