Did a powdercoat... rear loop too short

Rebuilding my 1975 Norton after I was able to fire it up again. Been 2 years since this was last touched. Anyway, I did the powdercoat already and then realized the rear loop is quite short? And it's at a wrong angle... What to do for this? Do I need to spend extra on custom work?

You could replace it, that's a solid enough option if you're willing to accept it. On the other hand I read that people sometimes try cold bending to fix the problem, so might wanna try that first

Congrats on firing it up, for the rear loop, you might need a custom fabrication if it's off-angle, it could save some cash with a retrofit, but custom work might be worth it

Easiest fix, cut the rear loop, sleeve it, adjust the angle, and weld it back. Or heat and bend if you've got a steady hand and a good torch. Some folks swap in an aftermarket loop too. Depends if you're aiming for factory look or custom. What direction you thinking?
